Being an Honest Psychic
Due to my ever expanding explorations into the realm of spirit, Tarot doesn’t spherically include all the work I do. It’s always an aspect of the readings I do for clients, but it is increasingly losing its primary and central position. My spiritual study and practice however, remains centred and grounded in the sacred feminine, the Mother and Goddess as it has for more than thirty years.
You might be surprised at how often (especially these days of so called financial uncertainty) I am asked for spiritual advice to place a winning bet, and upcoming lottery winning numbers. As I told one client recently I am confident that spirit in this situation will provide you with the information you need to know as opposed to what you want to know. My experience with the spiritual realm is that the guidance is always about what you need to learn and sadly little about physical comfort. This applies to all aspects of your life, from love to money and health.
The greatest challenge in being a reader is being honest when it comes to impending challenge (palatable reframe for disaster). It’s never easy to relate sad or unfortunate news to clients. Some clients will specifically request, “No bad news please”. This means that I will edit out anything I see that may potentially make them unhappy or fearful of what is in their forecast. They are undoubtedly relieved by the fact that I’m not completely silent. Other braver souls will specifically ask me to be baldly honest but when I speak of things that are not so pleasant on the horizon for them they are typically less than cordial. This is one of the many challenges facing all readers and what drives many away from the practice. Knowing what is foretold for your future is complicated.
Do you want to know really what’s ahead? Or are you seeking assurance that all is well? Each client has that conundrum to face every time they consult an oracle. Knowing why you are seeking my services will undoubtedly help you decide whether it’s visions of your future you want or spiritual guidance in the present situations facing you. I always teach my esoteric students that they must be honest in their readings. To betray the trust spirit places in me by lying to clients is not something I’m ever prepared to do for any reason. The good news is that there have been situations whereby spirit provided less than desirable outcomes yet the outcome was stellar. Would the client have viewed the outcome as stellar however, had they been told it would be?
