Happy International Women’s Day March 8
Psychic Readings by Kathleen
Sunday March 8 is International Women’s Day and daylight savings time too. What an auspicious combination! This will be a perfect day for us to celebrate our Sun Goddesses; Ameratsu, Oestre (where the word Easter is derived) and Azara. In the Tarot They have a presence in the High Priestess, the Empress, Justice, Temperance, the Star, the Sun, and World cards, just to name a few.
The story of the Goddess belongs to the realm of all living myth. In this realm, myth is the truth that retains its power long after philosophers and historians have revealed its impossibility, continuing to glide through our dreams, fantasies, and even our gestures. The truth of the Goddess is the mystery of our being. She is the dynamic life force within. Her form is embedded in our collective psyche, part of what it is to be human. She is Gaia, the dance of life, and her song is eros, the energy of creation.
We are now admitting into our consciousness the wisdom of the ages, never lost to primal peoples, that the earth is not a dead body, but is inhabited by a spirit that is life and soul. This spirit perceived and experienced as the body of the Great Mother gives nourishment to all the living things it shelters in its womb.
Make this coming Sunday full of life and love for the women in your life (including yourself!) and may the Goddess be with you all the sun filled days of your life.

Quote:
“But compared to the past, the new consciousness will have to be endowed with greater clarity, freedom, self-awareness, and a new and different capacity to love. The Goddess has reemerged as a guide for this transformation.
We are inevitably of our time. The reemergence of the Goddess does not mean a return to the Old Religion. What it does promise is a profound healing of the malaise that permeates our social fabric and physical environment. We are in the midst of one of those epochal changes when human realities are being reshaped by a vision of far-reaching consequences.
Once again artists are the prophets and healers. A new symbology and mythology is in the making. The avant-garde is usually around the corner and out of sight for most of us. What is so telling in this revolution is that the new spirituality appears to be a grass roots phenomenon.
The Goddess has reappeared in our midst in the late twentieth century as symbol of the healing that is necessary for our survival, a transformation of the consciousness that holds promise of a renewal of our culture. The emerging consciousness is pluralistic. There are many pathways that reconnect the personal to the political, the spiritual, and the sexual. There are no authorities, hierarchies, or gurus. Empowerment comes from within, from the connection to the life force.”
