Psychic Readings by Kathleen

Most people I know believe that our soul/spirit survives death.  My perspective is possibly skewed because my circle of friends, clients and colleagues represent a particular community of like-minded folks.  Even taking that into account however, studies do reflect that most people accept that we are not singularly talking animals, but rather mysterious beings possessing vastly unexplored depths and potentialities. That we do possess an eternal aspect which will prevail in some manner or another after our physical selves has sputtered to a stop.
The world’s primary religious traditions haven’t really been diligent in providing us with a detailed map of the spirit world.  The terrain, who resides and presides and how energy is dispersed (ie. work).  Rather sweeping and vague variations on bliss and suffering inform the primary narrative. I would include the notion of reincarnation in this mix as well.  Suffering is being forced to return over and over again to earth plane existence while bliss is finally achieving the freedom to leave it all behind for a state called “nirvana”.
Spiritualism however brought us much more graphic descriptions of the spirit world directly passed from a loving spirit to one still on the path here on earth.  I daily listen with awe to stories of loved ones who continue to visit either in dream state or waking life.  Most of the stories are characterized by loved ones (grand parents, parents, siblings, friends) who wish to impart a loving bit of advice or simply say they remain with them even in spirit!
What is fascinating about all this is how few people consider who they will continue to visit once they have passed to spirit.  Native people say that we are all an integral link in the chain of seven generations behind and ahead suggesting our spirit will be returning to earth for seven generations to insure everyone is doing okay.  We should all be mindful that the next seven generations on earth have access to what we did or we’ll be pretty upset in that spirit world for a VERY long time!
One of my developing theories is that whenever we have impacted on someone’s destiny in some manner, we have invested a chunk of our soul in their spiritual path and life purpose.  This means that we have formed a sacred soul attachment and/or contract that will last until the impact of that interference has been unraveled.  That certainly could take many generations! Yes it is our destiny to be that interference (ie. parenting) and to pay the consequence for it.  Too bad.  Spiritual development isn’t for sissies.  Some try to avoid this peril by hiding in retreat from the material world (to avert such a tie to the karmic wheel) but I doubt it’s that simple.  We’re all snagged into it somehow with somebody.
I’ve learned a couple of things about the spirit world in my work. It’s not the same as the earth plane.  Knowledge is instantaneous and all that existed in the multi layers of our consciousness is present (there is only ONE consciousness), healing others is everyone’s primary objective.  All for one and one for all.  Love and forgiveness are the currency and equality is the norm not the exception.
That is what is meant by cosmic justice, karma/dharma and atonement.  When a loved one comes to visit, know they are on a challenge mission.  One they embrace with great love and enthusiasm.  It is their loving task on the continuum path to forgiveness.  You’ll have your own soon enough.
